They are poems. I accumulated them in drawers for months, sometimes years. I thought about setting them on fire. But now I take them out and organise them. I think they talk about burning. About setting fire to masks. About cheating the norm. About being oneself and seeing others. About learning. About being reborn. About coming out of the pit. About giving. About losing. About playing. About remembering. About feeling the path. I think these poems speak of shining again, of burning again, of not forgetting the beauty of being alive, the frenzy of existing. I think they speak of the triumph of humour and love, even if love does not always triumph. They are poems and little poems that speak of beautiful things and ugly things.
